As you are looking for your celebrant, here are the important things you need to know about me: I want to lead the way in creating a ceremony that reflects you, your love, and all the things that you hold most dear in the world. I will provide unlimited consultation and assistance to you in fashioning a truly meaningful ceremony and delivering it to perfection.
I have respect for all faiths. I have received diplomas from the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, USA, where I now serve as a faculty member.
I live in New York City, but bring with me a hospitality that I attribute to my home, Oklahoma. In addition to this work that I adore, I devote myself to a variety of charities on issues relating to education, children, health, and the arts.
I have studied art, history, religion and music. I am an ardent traveler and life-long learner. In addition to my work as a life-cycle celebrant and officiant, I have more than 20 years experience in education, nonprofit management, and event-planning; I am ready to address any question or request, large or small.
I adore the creative process and look forward to telling your story to those who are most important in your life.
Donation for a Milestone
Should you select me to be the celebrant at your ceremony, I will make a donation to a charity of your choice, following the event. I can’t think of a better way to honor your experience. For me, this is a small way of “giving back” for the privilege of working with you at this milestone in your life, as well as the many gifts I have received over the years.
Recent organizations that received donations include the following:
- ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals)
- Hope & Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund
- Central Connecticut Food Bank
- MacDowell Colony (residential writing program)
- Society of the Little Flower Program for Foster Children
